This Is Not a Government or Law Enforcement Office. Irion County Warrant Records is privately operated. It cannot confirm a warrant, recall or clear court process, take bond, arrange a surrender, or give legal advice. The official answer must come from the Sheriff’s Office or the court that issued the process.
Where to Ask About Records
Choose the office that keeps the record. A different court may hold a traffic, county-court, city, or felony case.
- County law-enforcement status: call the Irion County Sheriff’s Office at 325-835-2551. The official page does not list a warrant database or separate unit hours. The county places the office at 209 N Park View Street, Mertzon, TX 76941.
- Traffic or Class C case: contact Irion County Justice Court, 209 N Park View, Mertzon, at 325-835-4141. Published hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed 12:30 to 1:00, and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Felony or district file: call the District Clerk at 325-835-2421. The office page lists Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The direct request form shows a different post-office box than the current clerk page, so confirm mailing details before sending a request.
- County Court records: the combo clerk office also serves as County Clerk. Call 325-835-2421, extension 4, and say the matter is in County Court.
- Mertzon city citation: contact City Hall/Municipal Court at 104 S Park View, Mertzon, TX 76941, 325-835-5791. Current municipal-court hours and a warrant payment portal are not published.
- License renewal FTA/FTP flag: Texas DPS and OmniBase can address reported citation compliance, not whether an arrest warrant exists. The OmniBase number is 1-800-686-0570.
The District Clerk’s records request form says the criminal name or case search covers felonies, not misdemeanors. It charges $5 per name or case searched in advance, plus $1 per page produced. The form permits a name search when the cause number is unknown and asks for a specific proceeding or document. Ask the clerk which court holds the matter before paying.
